This Privacy Policy describes how Linkify Solutions Inc. ("we", "us", or "our"), a federal corporation incorporated in Canada, collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Variant Organizer app (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

When you install and use the App, we collect the following information through the Shopify API:

  • Shop data: Your Shopify store domain and authentication tokens required to connect with your store.
  • Product data: Product option names, option values, and variant ordering information. We access this under the write_products scope to read and reorder your product option values.
  • App usage data: Saved reorder configurations, task history (background reorder jobs and their status), and workflow run history stored in our database.
  • Session cookies: Shopify session cookies required for authentication. We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking cookies.

We do not collect any personal data about your customers. The App only interacts with product catalog data.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and operate the App's core functionality: scanning, grouping, arranging, and applying product option value orders.
  • To process and track background reorder tasks.
  • To store your saved reorder configurations so you can re-apply them later.
  • To manage your subscription and billing through Shopify's billing system.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on servers located in Germany. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and secure database access.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

When you uninstall the App, all data associated with your shop is deleted immediately from our systems. This includes authentication tokens, saved configurations, task history, and any other shop-specific records.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. Your data is only shared with Shopify as required by their API Terms of Service to operate the App. We do not use any third-party analytics services.

6. GDPR Compliance

We process your data on the basis of legitimate interest to provide the service you installed. Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about your shop.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data (also fulfilled automatically on uninstall).
  • Request portability of your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data.

We respond to Shopify's mandatory GDPR webhooks (customer data requests, customer data erasure, and shop data erasure) by deleting all associated records from our database.
